The Nature of an Enlightened Being

A Person of Perfection

( Stitaprajña – a person of steady wisdom )

What is the nature of a self-realised person? What is she like? How does he express himself in the world?  What happens within her? And how does she contact the external world?

Join us as we begin our exploration of the final 18 verses of Chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita. These timeless verses are considered to be the text's masterpiece describing the nature and characteristics of a self-realised human being.

An enlightened person who attains perfection is freed from the entanglements of all egocentric attachments & desires and finds absolute peace & bliss eternally. She is like a drop of water that has merged with an ocean and attains unity with all existence.

We are following the edition of the Gita by A. Parthasarathy.

Course material will be provided initially until you obtain a copy for your own study. Please be in touch if you would like acquire a copy from Vedanta Eternal.

In the morning I bathe my intellect in the stupendous and cosmogonal philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita in comparison with which our modern world and its literature seem puny and trivial.
